What the program is
You share your Dealer Duo link. When a dealership or sales associate signs up through it and pays, you earn a share of what they pay. The standard share is 25% of each payment for twelve months from their first payment. Dealer Duo may agree different terms with you in writing, and those terms show in your dashboard.
How referrals count
A referral counts when someone new to Dealer Duo opens your link and creates their account right after, within 90 days of the click. Someone who already had an account when they opened your link is not a referral. The first affiliate link a person uses is the one that counts. Accounts you own or control yourself do not earn commission.
How money is calculated
Commission is based on the amount the customer actually paid, after any discounts and before Dealer Duo's payment processing fees. Refunds, chargebacks and disputed payments reduce it. Each commission is held for 30 days before it can be paid out, so a refund in that window simply cancels it.
Payouts
Payouts are made for commissions that have cleared their hold, on a schedule and by a method Dealer Duo announces in the dashboard. You are responsible for any taxes on what you earn. Dealer Duo may ask for tax and payment details before paying out.
How you may promote
Be honest about what Dealer Duo does. Do not send unsolicited bulk email or texts, bid on the Dealer Duo name in paid search, or present yourself as Dealer Duo. Do not offer your own rebates or incentives for signing up through your link.
Suspension and ending
Dealer Duo may suspend or close an affiliate account for breaking these terms, for activity that looks like self-referral or fraud, or on notice for any reason. Earned commissions that cleared their hold before a closure are still paid. Commissions connected to fraud are not.
Changes
When these terms change, the dashboard shows the new version and continuing to use the program accepts it.
